In the context of biomass for energy this is often thought of as plant based material, but biomass can equally apply to both animal and vegetable derived material. kind of agricultural source. The "Corn Belt"
has much agricultural land and can provide
massive packs of biomass with corn and other sources of plantations. You also need areas or locations that have human resources such as: scientists, technologists, and bioscientists. You need science to convert the plants and
other sources of life to produce biofuels and the technology to use it. On a global scale,I think that bio-diesel and other bio-fuels can impact society by reducing the amount of greenhouse
gases in the atmosphere. On a local scale, biomass can
fuel the electricity in your home and provide jobs. For the original average cost of biofuels, it would be about 2.9 to 3.6 cents per kilowatt hour.
On the other hand, fossil fuels and other oil-based fuels are about 2.1 cents per kilowatt hour, so it is relatively expensive, but still affordable.
