Grew up in an authoritarion/traditional household
I was raised in an authoritarian/ authoritative/ traditional household
My father is very traditional and is strict just like his parents. He is accustomed to the parenting style that is culturally accepted in Mexico.
My mother has an authoritative parenting style. I believe being a preschool teacher helped her with raising my brother and I.
I hope to raise my children under an authoritative style of parenting. I will be open with communication and guide my child the proper way. I will also set reasonable limits and explain why they need to follow them. I will love my child dearly and make sure they know it! I will also raise them a bit traditional with Catholic morals and values and I will make sure they can embrace their culture and who they are.
