(Or orange crate) You will need one http://www.dreamstime.com/stock-images-empty-wooden-crate-image22305994 Staples You will need 15 -http://www.officedepot.ca/Staples/Stanley-Bostitch-PowerCrown-Premium-Staples-SP19-14.asp Ply-wood You will need one sheet around 10x7 (or close to the size of the bottom of the box you chose) http://www.rona.ca/en/plywood---knotty-pine-plywood-8664029—1 Glue for glue gun You will need 3 sticks http://factorydirectcraft.com/catalog/products/1302 618-2815-4 mini glue gun sticks 5lbs.html The steps in making your Bobby Pin Piano 1. Take the wooden box and flip it upside down on top of the piece of ply-wood. 2. Use the glue gun to attach the box to the sheet of ply-wood http://iheartorganizing.blogspot.ca/2010/07/july-featured-space-bathroom-weekend_27.html 3. Use the pliers to flatten the bobby pins. http://www.instructables.com/id/how-to-pick-a-lock-3/step4/null/ 4. Use the ruler to mark lines every 5 centimeters horizontally on the wooden box (this side will become the side you play). http://www.dreamstime.com/stock-photography-carpenter-measuring-box-image2486702 5. Use the ruler to mark a line 8 centimeters from the lower side of the box vertically. 6. Place the bobby pins on the box so that they cover the horizontal lines you made. http://braidsandbritches.wordpress.com/ 7. Move the bobby pins up so that each one touches the vertical line you made (they should now be evenly spaced and somewhat resemble little keys hanging of the edge of your box). 8. Use the ruler to mark a line on each bobby pin, make each line 3 centimeters apart vertically, and only one line per bobby pin (as a result your marks should resemble stairs). 9. Staple the bobby pins to the box on the lines you just marked (the ones 3 centimeters apart that resemble stairs). 10. Use the hammer to push the staples in the rest of the way, and now you have your very own bobby pin piano! http://www.engadget.com/2006/08/29/how-to-make-a-custom-projector-screen/ Your Finished Project should look like a simpler version of this: Keep in mind this is professional work unlike yours, but yours is still cooler because you made yours. http://rekkerd.org/make-your-own-thumb-piano/
