Antarctica's Environment and Animals.
In Antarctica the sea is never more than 2 degrees. In summer it is still freezing because of all the ice. All the water turns to ice. Wind picks up snow from Antarctica and blows it some where else. Ice burgs make a convenient island for penguins. Ice sometimes forms under the ocean and traps a

Animals that live in Antarctica well adapt to the freezing temperatures and settle down comfortably. Antarctica is crowded with all different types of animals. On the penguins feet they do not have feathers. In the summer penguins pant to lose heat. Some animals only come to live in Antarctica in Summer. When penguins are under water their feathers keep a layer of air in their body to keep them warm.
There is sun in Antarctica but it does not help because there is so much ice. Antarctica is surrounded by the southern ocean and is bigger than Europe and almost double the size of Australia
