Margot Schumacher BBH "Building Better Homes"
Transcript of Margot Schumacher BBH "Building Better Homes"
From the money that you donate, our organization can provide homeless and inadequately housed families their most important resource: a home. This can be very important because every day, some 50,000 people, mostly women and children, die as a result of poor shelter, polluted water, and inadequate sanitation. The BBH organization is trying to lower this number, to 10,000, or less. Homelessness has been an interminable issue that needs to stop now! With your help, we can give families the opportunity to not only survive, but to strive! How Does BBH work?
The BBH organization uses the money that you donate to buy the structure, furniture, appliances, and full plumbing of one unit. The cost of one house structure can be anywhere from $1,000 to $6,000, not including the price to renovate it. The furniture will also be bought by us, which makes your donation even more important! Most homeless people or people experiencing poverty have dilapidated shelters that can cause health risks. In the U.S. alone, on any given night, it is estimated that some 342,000 people experience homelessness. So we are asking for your camaraderie to fight poverty around the world. Will you stand up and make a difference? What is BBH?
BBH stands for "Building Better Homes" and that's exactly what we do! We build homes for people all around the world that are unable to house themselves, either due to poverty, or natural and human-caused disasters. We believe in helping out the victims in life, for any reason because everyone deserves a second chance. Although homelessness and poverty may seem formidable, our organization is fervent to help out. But we can't accomplish our goal without your help; you are the reason BBH helps so many people today! Don't be a bystander; donate now!

It is so important for people who can to donate to this cause. When you see an emaciated person foraging in a dumpster for food, do you keep on walking, impassive and unaware? Or do you act with bravado, and give them some food, money, or a shelter? Here at BBH, we would choose the second option, but would you?
The annual estimation for people experiencing homelessness in the U.S. on any given night is projected to be 3.5 million people. With poverty comes homelessness, and as both of these factors rise, a good portion of the country will most likely be homeless. So the time is now to help end poverty. If homelessness were an abyss, then the BBH organization would be the heroes that thrown down a ladder and save the day!
