Definition: when crops go bad or there is not enough food being produced

Sentence: Attention all people of the United States, we are going through a harvest failure sadly to say. Please try not to use all of your food up. Make it last.
Crisis
Definition: a difficult or dangerous situation that needs serious attention

Sentence: She was dealing with a family crisis at the time.
Instability
Weather
Definition: the state of the air and atmosphere at a particular tie and place

Sentence: The weather today will be hot and dry.
Migrate
Definition: to move from one coutry to or place to live or work in another

Sentence: He migrates from New York to Florida each winter.
Climate
Definition: the usual weather conditions in a particular place or region

Sentence: The country's climate is ideal for growing grapes.
Adapt
Definition: to change (something) so that it functions better or is better suited for a purpose

Sentence: he teachers adapted [=modified] the curriculum so that students of all abilities will benefit from it.
Infanticide
Definition: the act of killing babies

Sentence: Since we are down on food, we are to use the act of infanticide until further notice.
Definition: the quality or state of being unstable

Sentence: Investors are worried about the current instability of the stock market.
Latitude
Definition: an imaganary line that circles the Earth at a particular latitude and that is parallel to the equator

Sentence: Madrid and New York City are on nearly the same latitude.

Starvation
Definition: suffering or death caused by having nothing to eat or not enough to eat

Sentence: The famine brought mass starvation.
