He is best known as one of five co-founders of the social networking site Facebook. Zuckerberg is the chairman and chief executive of Facebook, Inc Zuckerberg's personal wealth is estimated to be $9.4 billion as of 2012. Facebook is a social networking service launched in February 2004, owned and operated by Facebook, Inc. As of September 2012, Facebook has over one billion active users, more than half of them using Facebook on a mobile device Mark Zuckerberg was a second year student, when he wrote the software for the Facemash website.
