Aims:
Transnational cooperation between VET providers and local/regional communities in order to :
improve the training programmes
improve the quality of teaching
modernize the institutions
Main activities:
Exchanging good practices and innovation
Developing and delivering of innovating VET teaching/training materials and methods
Favoring the recognition and the validation of competences, skills and knowledge acquired through formal, non-formal and informal education
Cross-sectoral cooperation
Priorities for the projects contributing to:
the recognition and validation of knowledge, skills and competences acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning
the active citizenship and entrepreneurship (including social entrepreneurship)
the evaluation of cross-disciplinary competences and the promotion of practical experiences in companies
the adoption of Open Educative Resources (available and open on the Web)
+ specifically for "Leonardo":
partnership between the world of education and the world of work
the development of short-term qualification

Participation of the most appropriate and diverse actors in order to reach a high quality level
Generally, the participants are from the Programme Countries. BUT other countries can participate as long as they bring a real and essential added value (to be justified in the application)

- Public or private organisation with a specific expertise in one sector at the regional, national or European level (social partners, research centers, professional organisation,...)
- Public or private organisation acting as a ruling entity in the VET system at the national, regional or European level (public authority, certification organisation, ...)
Funding rules:
Max 700 000 € for 2 years
Max 1000 000 € for 3 years
