No matter what type of map it is they must all have five basic parts
Look at the Map!
There are several types of maps called
thematic maps.
A thematic map presents information related to only one theme or topic.
Natural parts of the Earth's surface. They include landforms like mountains, plains, and plateaus. They also show features of land and water, such as bays, oceans, seas, isthmuses, and peninsulas.
Population density
This is the number of people per unit of area.

state or national boundaries, capitals, and major cities
natural resources/economic activities

Scale tells you what the distance on the map equals in real life.
Tells you where the cardinal directions of North, South, East, and West are.
When you see the falcon raise your hand and earn a prize.
