Stem Cell Research CON! What are Stem Cells? Work Cited -Are cells that have the potential to develop into many different cell types in the body during early life and growth Where do they come from? -Those who value human life from the point of conception, oppose embryonic stem cell research because the extraction of stem cells from this type of an embryo requires it's destruction. Impersonating God -Embryos formed during the blastocyst phase of embryological development (embryonic stem cells)
-Adult tissue (Adult Stem Cell) -they offer much hope for medical advancement.
