Ricardo Rubio Physical Landscapes Physical Landscapes Enviorment Natural Resources What the region is known for? The Pyrenees mountains are a major physical feature in the western part of Europe, they are found at the boarder of Spain and France. Tourist Attractions, such as the beach, sunny climate, sunny climate and beautiful scenery.
In Belguim waffes, and Netherlands flowers.
France produces wheat, sun flowers, olives, grapes, and dairy products. Help make regional dishes, cheeses and wines therfore their are many vineyards . Swizterland makes the best chocolate so they have cocoa trees.
Oil, natural gas and coal are some resourcces found in Weastern Europe. Countries Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Monaco, Luxemburg, France, Switzerland, Leichtenstein Netherlands- coastal flooding and erosion, below water level,
Belguim- high population density, bad water qualitites, bad air quality
Germany-nuclear energy, enviornment and animal habitats were unsustainable. Climate Netherlands- haves a marine climate, cool summers and mild winters.
Belgium- haves mild winters, cool summers.Its rainy, humid, and cloudy.
Germany-temperate and marine climate, cloudy, wet winters and warm wind in summers.
Monaco-Has warm, dry summers and mild, rainy winters.
Luxembourg-Mild winters and cool summers
France- Contains generally cool winters and mild summers, occasional strong, cold, dry, north-to-northwesterly wind known as mistral.
Switzerland-Temperate, but varies with altitude, cold, cloudy, rainy and snowy winters. Cool to warm, cloudy, humid summers.
Liechtenstein-Continental, cold, cloudy winters with frequent snow or rain. Cool to moderately warm, cloudy, humid summers. The Black Forest which are found in northern Germany. The Rhine River that runs from Germany to Switzerland.
The Alps go through the southern parts of France and Switzerland. Switzerland and France- Underwater system is contaminated, most of northern France and parts of Switzerland is forest that hold within many animals.
Liechtenstein- alot of pollution due to all the industrializing they have.
Monaco- urban area, very sunny, beautiful scenery, and not many problems The western parts of Europe is known for their high-income and industrialized economy.
It also has the warmest climate throughout Europe. Major historical landmarks in Germany, France along with Belgium. How does the physical location affect/influence social, political, economics of the nations in your region? Most parts of the western area is close to the coast line therefor they have access to fishing and ports. Also during the Cold War western and eastern Europe split up, western went with the United States and eastern with the Soviet Union and after the Cold War western brought back the eastern. Flags
