By Jordan and Joei Bernoulli's Theory L ift Thrust Drag Gravity Types of Aviation Flight He discovered the principal that the pressure of a fluid decreases when its speed or velocity increase, this prinicpal was also later discovered to apply to air pressure as well. This helps us to understand that when a plane is speeding up for take off, the faster it goes the less air pressure is exerted on it and therefore the plane is able to 'lift-off' the ground and fly. Thrust propels the plane forward. Thrust also has to be equal to or greater than drag. Gravity pulls the plane towards the ground. Drag pulls the plane back, controlling its speed. - Planes

- Jets Faster time for farther travel, that's what flight can give you! FAST! FUN! FLIGHT!! Aviation Lift is the force in aviation that pulls the plane upward. Lift also has to be equal to or greater than gravity.
