SAM is a youth developmental, series of workshops, customized to address youth related problems through a toolkit of creative arts, organized by DJJS.
SAM is a pioneering drive to turn youth into
"catalysts of social re-engineering"
.

SAM endeavors to bridge the gap between youth and the
“solution to their issues”
by empowering them and transforming their mindsets.

It is a revolution aiming at
eradicating social vices
such as drug abuse, alcholisim and like.

It is a large body of about
26000 selfless volunteer members
, dedicated towards bringing the positive change in the society
DJJS has always been engaged in multi-facet social and spiritual initiatives and programs to benefit millions of people.

Through its army of dedicated youth volunteers DJJS has successfully served the nation at the time of Kargil War (1999), Bhuj Earth Quake (2001), Tsunami in Southern India (2004), Kashmir Earthquake (2005), Kosi floods (2008), Delhi serial blasts (2008), Karnataka floods (2009), Sirsa Flood (2010) and many more.

The unfortunate disaster hit Kedarnath and other areas of Uttrakhand on early morning of 16th June, 2013 and from 17th June, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s Disaster Relief Program started its first Relief Base Camp in Srinagar Uttarakhand.
DJJS'
Starting with providing food, shelter, daily supplies of tooth paste, tooth brush, buckets & mugs, soaps, and other amenities like blankets, woolens, tarpaulins, rain-coats, torches the camp is providing relief to 181 families of Srinagar and 7 villages which could be reached from the base camp.
DJJS sent its volunteers to penetrate into the areas which are not been accessed by any relief.
The 2 base camps at Srinagar are serving fresh cooked food, medicine, water and other daily supplies to around 4000 victims every day.
DJJS sent a rescue and relief team immediately to Paithani near Pauri on 25th June after cloud burst in the area. The relief work started by evening reaching out to all the residents of Paithani by mid night.
DJJS further established 3 base camps in Uttarkashi District on Gangotri Road, Maneri village and Kharadi village and 1 base camp in Pithoragarh reaching out with relief team, relief material and rapid survey teams to the remote areas in these districts. More than 20 villages in each district are covered by relief operation through these base camps making it a total of 80+ villages covered DJJS’ Relief Operation. The entire camp and reach out campaigns are being overseen by a senior team from Delhi and Dehradun along with local residents.
Another team has approached Oakhimath and Kedarnath which collapsed under another cloud burst.
Currently a team has moved ahead of Rudraprayag to identify location of another base camp and a make-shift hospital which aims at providing relief to; areas like Guptkashi, Chamoli, Joshi Math, Badrinath and low lying areas of Kedarnath.
