Breaking the Waves: My Recalculating Directory
SKILLS
In time of uncertainty and transition, these skills can help me carry on, in any situation.
collaboration
communication
initiative
responsibility
literacy skills
independent work
organization
self-regulation
These skills are necessary in all fields of employment and careers. I must maintain and always use these skills in any path I choose to go, but especially in times of transition to keep myself strong and focused.
STRENGTHS
In times of transition, my strengths are vital to keeping me afloat and making a smooth transition.

According to the strengths and skills evaluation, my strengths are:
responsibility
collaboration
organization
These skills are essential to any workplace or destination.
I must also work on my other skills, so that I can obtain more strengths and have a smoother transition.
ALLIES
My allies are the people that care about me and help me work towards my goal. These allies are especially important in time of transition, as they will help me to succeed and get back on my feet.

Some allies that I have are:
family
friends
teachers
professionals (librarians, police, etc.)
These allies are like my support and also resources. These people are always there to help me and pick me up when I fall.
OUT OF THE WAVES AND BACK ON MY FEET
Now, I am out of the deep waters! I am well on my way towards a new destination, with all help of my skills, strengths, support, resources, and allies.

I have successfully transferred myself from one path to another, with the aid of these 5 important sections.

RESOURCES
SUPPORT
Support is very important in times of transition. It is what powers you and drives you to keep fighting for your goal. Some support that I have are:
my friends
my family
teachers
professionals (doctors, EMS, police, etc. )
These people can provide help, aid and comfort when needed. This will help me and aid in my transition.
WHEN IS IT TIME TO SWTICH PATHS?
Its time to switch paths when I am no longer content or satisfied at where I am currently, and where I am headed towards. I might feel distressed, angry and bored when thinking about my current path and choice.

This is natural, as this specific path may not be the path for me, but there is one out there. I must now take the initiative to switch paths and start again, because my happiness and health always comes first.

When switching paths, I must always remember the list of resources and help that I always have. These will help me make a smooth transition from one path to another, and waste as little time as possible.
Resources are very important in times of transition, as these provide the fundamentals for new learning and help.

Resources in which I can look to for help are:
books (novels and textbooks)
internet
posters
teachers
classmates
friends
professionals (teachers, librarian etc. )
Thank you for watching! :)
