What exactly is a disaster?
A disaster is a calamitous event, one that suddenly occurs or one that is man-made, both causing damage and loss of life.

When and Why should you be prepared?
You should always be prepared in everyday life. You should be prepared so you can act calmly, know what to do, and help others and yourself when there is a disaster. You should be prepared so you can avoid being dead, avoid suffering, and avoid waiting for any help to come.
To avoid:

What are Natural Disasters?
Natural Disasters are any event or force of nature that has catastrophic consequences.

What is Terrorism?
To answer that question, Terrorism is the unlawful use of violence, or threats of violence by a person or an organized group against any people or property, used for political or ideological purposes
One act of terrorism that had happened in my lifetime was 9/11.Terrorists had crashed a plane on one of the twin towers and had sent everyone in a panic. Then, the terrorists had blown up the second twin tower causing the building to fall making the U.S. more fearful than ever.
What happens after a Disaster?
After a disaster, there would be many destroyed buildings and homes. People who were in the range of the disaster are either most likely dead, freaking out about what had just happened, or are prepared to survive. Also, people would be rushing to the public shelters and scourging for provisions and supplies. The government would be trying their best to help the people who are suffering from the disaster.
How to Prepare for a Disaster
To prepare for a disaster, you will need a emergency plan, a disaster kit, provisions, and a shelter. You may also need a 72-hour kit, a G.H.B., an E.D.C., and a B.O.B.

What is an emergency Plan?
An Emergency Plan is the discipline of dealing with and avoiding risks. It is a discipline that involves preparing for disaster before it occurs. It is also a plan outlining how to deal with a serious or major incident. I believe that every family should have an emergency plan so they can avoid panic and suffering when a disaster occurs and so they know what to do when a disaster occurs.
