race, skin colour, sex, language, religion, opinions, family background, social or economic status, birth or nationality is. .

I think article 2 means that you are a human being. No matter what religion, gender, or WHATEVER it is, you are equal, no matter what. You're no better then anyone, thus you are not worse. You should be not discriminated from your rights, discriminated in general, or be treated extra special. Everyone should respect that.

You have the right to earn the same salary as everyone else in the same area.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness: Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: Only love can do that

-Martin Luther King Jr

Thanks to the article two, it keeps anyone from being discriminated and and keeping anyone's from being taken away away.
The final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands

-Anne Frank
Both Anne Frank and Martin Luther King Jr have been mistreated due to their skin and their religion. And to many others, abused physically and mentally.
Article 23
: Right to desirable work and to join trade unions

I think the means you can have any job you desire, unless you not prepared or qualified. You are entitled to getting the same amount of pay no matter who you are.
