Homelessness describes the condition of people without a regular dwelling. People who are homeless are most often unable to acquire and maintain regular, safe, secure, etc.
Homeless shelters are temporary residences for homeless people which seek to protect vulnerable populations from the often devastating effects of homelessness while simultaneously reducing the environmental impact on the community.
Homeless People
Why are homeless young
people not getting an education?
There is a strong association between homelessness and a lack of engagement with education, training and employment . The majority of homeless people or people living in hostels are unemployed. The Places of Change agenda has encouraged homelessness services to focus on moving service users forward by improving access to meaningful occupation and training and employment opportunities.
The term homeless may include people whose primary night-time residence is in a homeless shelter, a warming center, a domestic violence shelter, cardboard boxes or other ad hoc housing situations.
Where do they Live?
There are many campaigns for helping the homeless people
Living in temporary accommodation can have very damaging health effects, both physical and mental.
