THESE ARE THINGS YOU MIGHT NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU START COOKING:
THE RICE ALWAYS COMES OUT DIFFERENTLY DEPENDING ON HOW YOU COOK IT. IF YOU DONT GET THE EXACT TASTE YOU WERE LOOKING FOR ITS OKAY AS LONG AS IT STILL TASTES GOOD.
don't ADD TOO MUCH OF ONE THING AND KEEP YOUR MIND OPEN TO WHAT TASTEs you would LIKE.
don't BE afraid TO TASTE THE STEW BEFORE YOU ADD THE RICE. YOU MIGHT WANT TO ADD SOMETHING FOR A CHANGE.
THIS RECIPE IS NOT SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN RUSH, SO PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME! THERE ARE MANY THINGS YOU CAN EAT JOLLOF WITH, SO DON'T BE AFRAID.

as i grew up eating jollof i did not know the secret to the rice being orange. i used to think my mother put food coloring inside. well of course i later grew up and saw my mom cook it and noticed that thE color comes from the stew which is made up of red peppers, onion, and tomato paste.
