High school transcripts must be mailed directly to the Office of Admission
GED scores may be faxed or hand-carried to the Office of Admission
Undergraduate transcripts from each institution you wish to receive transfer credit must be mailed directly to the Office of Admission
ACT Scores
Test Waiver
Admission Process
All applicants must take the COMPASS Placement test.
The Testing Center is located in Room 176 of the Main Building
We can accept ACT scores that are less than two years old in place of the COMPASS test
Scores must be sent directly from www.act.org
If you have completed college-level English or Algebra with a "C" or better at a regionally-accredited college or university, you may request to waive the COMPASS test
Financial Aid Literacy Workshop
In-state Tuition: $148.64 per credit hour
Out-of-state Tuition: $297.28 per credit hour

Tuition does not include: course fees, administrative fees and related instructional costs, such as books and parking
Cincinnati State supports an open admission policy based on a three (3) semester rolling admission process
To be eligible for grants, loans, scholarships and work study, you must complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov

You must have completed the three step admission process and be admitted into a degree-seeking program in order to receive financial aid
Questions? Attend a monthly Financial Aid Literacy Workshop hosted by the Office of Financial Aid
Held on the last Thursday of each month at

You will receive your Username and Password for MyCSTATE by mail after submitting your online application.
MySERVICES, accessed from MyCSTATE, allows you to:

MyCSTATE includes access to your college email account, SurgeMail.

All communication from the college is conducted via SurgeMail, including financial aid information.
