United States Military Policy U.S. Federal department is charged with coordinating and supervising all agencies and functions of the government relating to national secrutiy and U.S. armed forces. Definition: Policy by which the United States conducts military affairs with other countries. Facts: United States is backed by a $651 billion annual budget. The President has final jurisdiction of our military policy, yet the Secretary of State oversees state-to-state relations
