2.) What are the advantage/disadvantage of placing the hotel in Tagaytay?
"We have a great advantage since we have prime location. Tagaytay is a popular tourist spot."
"A disadvantage is that it's too far away. They have to go to Tagaytay with a definite intention."
3.) How do you train your employees?
"We brief them about the vision and mission of the company. It is important that they should know what the management expects of them."

"It is very accessible as it is near the city center. It is only a few minutes walk from different establishments."
2.) What is your competitive advantage over your competitor?
"We provide a laid-back and vintage setting that guests can enjoy. Aside from that is the exquisite view of the Taal lake, something that most people find when visiting Tagaytay."
3.) What is unique of your hotel?
"The vintage ambiance the hotel exudes, with the antique gramophone, harp and our most beloved grand piano, which we have a pianist to entertain guests."
4.) Do you offer local resident discounts?
"No. Everybody equally needs to pay the price they have to pay."
5.) What is your primary target market?
"Families, couples, or barkadas. Basically, anybody."
Weaknesses
1.) Which area can you improve about your product and service?
"Definitely we need to improve our housekeeping. Guests sometimes complain about the bathroom being dirty or having worn out towels."
2.) How do you think can you try to avoid these problems?
"Have better handling of the management. I know the problem so I have to find a solution for it. I need to keep an eye on the hotel, if the rooms are in excellent condition and make sure that guests have complete customer satisfaction."
3.) Is the location of the hotel possible?
"It is very possible. It's along the road and located at the forefront of the Tagaytay Rotonda. It's also more or less than an hour drive from those from the low-land or up-land."
4.) Are your facilities good?
"We have numerous facilities. Like our lobby bar where we serve american and european cuisine and even a coffee experience. In-room massage services and wifi access and many more. Guests have no problems with our facilities. So yes, I can say that our facilities are good."

"As much as possible we avoid having unsatisfied guests. We do our utmost best to reach their expectations."

"Moving forward we need to improve the services we have to offer to guests. In achieving this we need to have a steady positive feedback from them and have higher market value"

"What is the attitude or response the guests have to our services? From this we can strategize ways on how to use their responses to an advantage. How to make them want to come back to the hotel for another time. Use this to improve the hotel"

"Definitely we'll try to make a facebook page and answer all the reviews made by our guests or update people about the future plans of the hotel."

1.) What are competitors doing well?
"Admittedly we may not rival the amenities of other hotels. Tv cable doesn't work well sometimes and we have poor wifi connection. We will try our best to address and improve our amenities."

"Being a low budget hotel I have to think of ways to improve the hotel without exceeding the amount that we can spend."
3.) What are the primary problems that you encounter?
"When we deal with unsatisfied guests. As much as possible if we can, we have to meet the expectations the guests have for the hotel."
4.) Competitors have stronger brand names
"It's not just about the name. It's building the name that you stand up for. As each customer we serve leave satisfied, it leaves a mark on them that makes our name stronger."

1.) Why do you place that hotel in Tagaytay?
"Tagaytay is one of the popular tourist destinations among urban dwellers because of its proximity to Manila. It's only a 50 km drive South of it. Don't forget the view. People love the view in Tagaytay."
2.) What are the advantage/disadvantage of placing the hotel in Tagaytay?
"An advantage is that it has many tourist destinations. There's the Picnic Grove, Taal Volcano... Add that the climate in Tagaytay is very relaxing."
"The disadvantage is probably that Tagaytay is out of the way. If you wanna go here

3.) How do you train your employees?
"Communication is key. As much as possible, of course, I have to communicate with them and brief them on the latest updates and information on the hotel."

"We give them training everyday. Every piece of advice, direction and communication is already a way of training them."
"For incentives we do give them bonuses and room discounts if ever they want to use the hotel."
5.) What kind of product and services can you offer?
"The quality rooms we have is already a service we can offer. We have room service, a 24 hour massage service, function rooms for meeting or events and our observation deck so guests can have a feel of the view of the Taal lake."
"The briefing we do everyday is already training for them. We also teach them how to handle responsibility. Give them a task that they should accomplish per day."
"We do give employee discounts. That's already a given. And if possible we try to give them sought-after rewards. To keep them motivated."

"Our location is easily accessible. It's close to public markets ad it's along the road to Sta. Rosa and Tagaytay. Good food is just across the street, but of course we also provide American and Filipino cuisine. And beautiful sights of Tagaytay are near."

"Our roof deck with the exquisite view of Taal is already a given advantage. We provide a contented stay with a small price to pay."
3.) What is unique of your hotel?
"Not all hotels have an observation deck. The deck may be used for parties and even events. Guests absolutely love the view we can offer to them."
4.) Do you offer local resident discount?
"Unfortunately no. They still have to pay the same price as anybody."
5.) What is your primary target market?
"Our hotel targets everybody. Young, old, couples, families, teenagers, anybody that wants to experience staying at our hotel."
Weaknesses
1.) Which area can you improve about your product and service?
"The only area guests are not contented with is the housekeeping and once was a guest unsatisfied with the staff. But that has long been improved."
2.) How do you think you can try to avoid these problems
"Act on the problem before it gets worse. As soon as you notice a problem, think of a solution for it then act on it."
3.) Is the location of the hotel possible?
"Yes, it's very much possible. It's along the road and easily spotted. Guests won't have a hard time finding the hotel and parking."
4.) Are your facilities good?
"We have, I wouldn't say perfect but excellent facilities. Guests are happy with the observation deck, also with our grill(for the Filipino cuisine) and diner(American dishes). There haven't been any complaints so far."
5.) What problem can be avoided?
"Having not well-trained hotel staff. In order to have great service you need a well-trained staff. We have to make sure that the staff is prepped and ready for the job that they're assigned to."

"No we are not, but we will be very happy to answer their questions via our telephone line or on the front desk."

"Improving the services, facilities and amenities first then strategize projects that will gain us more market."

"Acquire a budget that's enough to improve certain parts of the hotel and then expanding it."

"Social networking sites are currently in demand to keep guests updated about what's new what's happening in the hotel. So definitely we'll try to be updated in these sites."

"Other hotels can provide services and facilities with which we cannot. And although these services are limited we try to meet the expectations of our guests and give them a great hotel experience."

"With our staff being not well-trained. We try our best to train our staff to meet the needs and satisfy our guests. We are also thinking of better training strategies."

"It can't be helped that there will be an unsatisfied guest and as much as possible we try to fulfill the needs that they want to ensure them of great hotel experience."

"The name is important just as much as the hotel is. Our hotel is known for having an observation deck with a great view. Just by that, we have already established a strong name."

"The ambiance of Tagaytay is very relaxing. With the cool weather and the breathtaking view and the numerous tourist destinations, it's a great choice to place a hotel in Tagaytay."
2.) What are the advantage/disadvantage of placing the hotel in Tagaytay?
"An advantage is that many guests want to escape the stress they have in Manila, so they travel to Tagaytay to unwind and relax. It helps that Tagaytay exudes serenity."
"Disadvantage is that it may seem too far away from the people from Manila.

"We give them incentives like discounts and bonuses if ever they have done a good job and have truly earned each bonus. The training I have mentioned is the training we give daily."

"We offer a complete selection of hotel services and different facilities that cater to their needs and requirements. We have the gym, full service restaurant and outdoor pool and many more"

"Accessibility is a little bit difficult since we are secluded and away from the usual Tagaytay Central and we are also away from the main road."

"We have facilities that are different compared to other hotels. Example is our fishing lagoon, vegetable farm, picnic huts and many more facilities that aren't usually found in a hotel. We can give you a complete outdoor experience"

"What's unique in our hotel is that we have a farm with a few animals that families enjoy. Our hotel is also child friendly because of the spacious playground and outdoor activities."

"No, local resident or not they are still obliged to pay the same amount "

"Our primary target market is families with children. We make our hotel and ideal place for family bonding."

"There have been complaints about the Housekeeping and that hotel service needs improvement but we have already addressed this matter."

"Better management handling. More on hand management handling. See to it that these problems are avoided as much as possible."

"The location is secluded and difficult for those with no cars. We have provided a shuttle service for guests that want to go to the Tagaytay Central. Amidst this, our location is nevertheless possible.

"We see to it that the facilities provided meet the satisfaction of the guests and their expectations."

"As what I have mentioned about the housekeeping, we will try our best to not make the same mistake again. And also with the wi-fi issues, but we are already working to address it."

"Retain the positive customer feedback and provide even better services to capture more market. Strategize of ways to catch the attention of more customers."

"Since our target market is families with kids, we see to it that we can provide activities that are suitable to their tastes and acquire the family bonding that they expect to have."

1.) What are competitors doing well?
"We can't provide a view of Taal, something that is a primary consideration guests want as they set foot on Tagaytay."
2.) What obstacle does the company face (So, what are you doing?)
"Our hotel is expected to be provide an above expectation experience. We always need to fulfill the expectations the guests are expecting of us. We have the expectations of our guests placed on our shoulders. We need to give our 101% and think ahead to meet these expectations. This is an obstacle we always have to face."
3.) What are the primary problems that you encounter?
"With the location that we have, a problem is when guests want to leave the hotel premises and explore the Tagaytay Central. But we already have a solution to this and that is our shuttle service. They're free to ask for the service at the front desk. "
4.) Competitors have stronger brand name
"In order to have a strong brand name, you have build that name step by step. A hotel wouldn't be known to have a strong name if they didn't give the service that people want and expect. In our case we are on our way to having that strong brand name."
