Conclusion Theme Courage
Scout, Dill, and Jem will have the courage to talk to Boo Radley.
When Boo Radley came out of his house to save Scout and Jem " I wanted you to see what real courage is instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It is when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyways and you see it through no matter what, you rarely win, but sometimes you do."-Atticus Finch pg 112 "Mockingbirds don't do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They don't eat up peoples gardens, don,t nest in corncribs, they don't do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. That's why it's a sin to kill a mockingbird." Everyone should have courage and teachs you to stand up to others. It makes us better people. The Help, In this book the Maids

"First of all," he said, "if you can learn a simple trick Scout, you'll get along a lot better with all kinds of folks. You never really under stand a person until you consider things from his point of view." Atticus pg.30 Scout is important to the story because she is the main character and she is the narrator. Scout reminds us of Ramona Quimby beause they are both sassy, curious and funny. Symbol Our symbol is a Mockingbird. The Mockingbird is a harmless bird that dose nothing to hurt anybody or anything. A mockingbird is important to the book because the mockingbird in the book is Boo. Boo is the mocking bird because he is harmless and doesn't do any thing wrong. Quotes " Miss Jean Louise, Stand up your father is Passin'" Reverend Sykes pg.211
This quote means Reverend Sykes wants Scout to stand and respect her father for trying to help Tom win. This Quote is important because it shows the theme of respect towards other people. Even tough Tom was found guilty they sill respected Atticus for helping. Chapter Naming Chapter 11: Morphine Mania Chapter 9: Uncle Jack is Back Chapter 31: The Grey Ghost For chapter 9 it is called uncle jack is back because there uncle comes back to town. We came up with it beacuse Uncle Jack is back Chapter 11 is called morphine mania becaue Mrs. Dubose kicked her morphine addiction before she died. We came up with it because Mrs. Dubose is a hero. Chapter 31 is called the Grey Ghost because that was the book that Atticus was reading when scout went into Jems room. We came up with because it is one of the last things Atticus says in the book. Conclusion In the Book to Kill a Mockingbird you see the courage of three kids trying to get a mockingbird to come and out. In the book you also see how hard it is to be a colored person in the south during the 1920's. To kill a mockingbird will teach you many lessons about life. Work Cited page
