(Thank Goodness its Friday) TGI Fridays Structure and Management Franchise Inside Fridays TGI Fridays is a franchise company. That means that The head company sells rights for local people to open and operate a TGI Fridays and in exchange for giving the restaurant supplies the restaurants owner will give the head company some of their profits. Numbers There are about 920 restaurants worldwide and about 580 of those are in the United States.

Around 300 of those restaurants worldwide are owned by Carlson Restaurants Worldwide(the parent company of Fridays) and the rest are franchised. Ricky Richardson Ricky Richardson was promoted to COO in December 2011.

Prior to this he was COO of Fridays International. Management The People that run Fridays are Carlson Restaurants Worldwide who bought Fridays in 1975. So all of management also has control over several other restaurant chains, some of which are variants of Fridays. Anne Varano Anne Varano is the Senior Vice President Human Resources and Communication.

In 2006 she won a Stevie Award(Oscar for business) Nick Shepherd Shepherd was elevated to President and CEO in February of 2009. However he has more that 25 years in various fields of management.

In its first year it had over 1 million dollars in revenue.

Since then they has gone more towards a family restaurant but most places still have a bar.
