their nations flag. In 1775, New England people started to fight the British for their independence. The Declaration of Independence was published on July 4, 1776. Since 1857 India have been trying to get their independence. Mahatma Gandhi and the Indian National Congress launched the independence movement. On August 15, 1947
India. Have a picnic, go kite flying, and listen to patriotic music. Bastille was a prison that ended the monarchy and began the representative government. The Middle class of France spoke out against the government. They then later stormed into Bastille on July 14, 1789 and the French Revolution began. Comparative Summary
The U.S., India, and France won their independence in different ways. The U.S wanted to lead their own country with out the British having control over them. The French had enough of their monarchy putting all the money problems on them and attacked. India fought for their freedom also just as the other two. They all celebrate their independence day in the summer time. They difference is that they won their freedom in difference ways and reasons.
