IIUM Excel Car Rental System is a car rental system focused to operate in International Islamic University Malaysia situated in Gombak, Selangor campus. The system covers every Mahallah or residential houses in the campus. Being the first official car rental system in the campus, this project is funded by the university itself through IIUM Student Service Division.
This system is proposed and developed in 2013 by the project manager Mr Muhammad Adhwa who is also the student of the university. The car rental system provides the means of transportation to students, staff and visitors of the university. The system however focuses and prioritizes on residential houses, since there is a huge demand for rent cars to be used from the Mahallah as a starting place.
Being operated on campus, the system also focuses on affordability, availability and efficiency in regards of the students. Therefore, the university hired a group of students to develop the system in hope that this system can deliver to the highest standard for the convenience of the students and the residents of the houses in the university.
