Bases Examples
-Bleach

Physical Properties
Acids-have sour taste, they turn blue litmus to red, they are electrolytes, they turn methyl orange to red, strong acids can destroy fabric and cause burn on skin.

Bases-are usually bitter if tasted, have slippery touch, conduct electricity, and turn litmus paper to blue.

-Lemon juice, orange juice (citric acid)
-Soda
-Vinegar
-Distilled water
-Stomach acid
-Carbon dioxide
