Transcript of The Milky Way our galaxy

The Milky way is the galaxy we live in.
It's only one out of millions of diffrent galaxies in many sizes, shapes, and colors. Don't let the name fool you, the Milky Way is NOT made out of milk. It is simply made of stars, dust particals, astroids, and our very own soler system. There are three diffrent types of galexies. There's spiral galexies, ireagular galexies, and eliptical galexies. The Milky Way Galexy is a spiral galexy. The
Milky Way,
Our Galexy By: Raechelle Morgan Wight Spiral Galexies have big long arms that streach millions of miles through the universe. These arms sorta curve around in a spiral. Our Galexy has (of course) the eight planets we know, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. It also has the astroid belt.... The sun, many stars, and other astroids. And don't forget our very own moon and the other planets moons. Where is the center of our Galexy? The center of our galexy is located in the constilation we know as, Sagittarius. How big is the Milky Way? The Milky Way is about 100 000 light-years in diameter and about 1000 light-years in width. And approximatly contains 200 to 400 billion stars.
