Persuade When an author Persuades you,
they are trying to convince you of something. What is Author's Purpose? An Author's Purpose is the reason that an author is writing something. There's always a reason that an author decides to write a certain piece of writing. It makes us better readers if we are able to articulate what the authors purpose is in writing a particular piece. As easy as
P I E Inform When an author tries to Inform you, they are giving you information or trying to teach you something. Entertain When an author writes something to entertain,
they want you to enjoy it. Can an author have more
