EXPOSITION
Reading &
Comprehension
At the beginning Woody
was living
in Andy`s room and he
was
his favorite toy. On his birthday, Andy
received
a Buzz Lightyear and Woody
got jealous
because everyone
loved
him and he
was ignored,
even by Andy.

One day Woody
pushed
Buzz out of the window and everybody
got mad
at him, so he
went
to
look
for him. Woody
found
Buzz in a gas station and they
argued
. They
had
many adventures together when they
tried
to get back home, they
were kidnapped
by a creepy kid
named
Sid.
Sid
enjoyed
doing bad things especially to toys, so Woody and Buzz
needed
to run away from him. Woody
taught
Buzz to believe in himself.

They
worked
together and even
became
friends in their journey. They finally
made it back
to Andy who
was moving out
of his house. When they
got
there their friends
received
them and they
learned
to be both Andy`s favorite toys.
Your coach will read the first paragraph, then get in couples and practice your reading skills. Let's see who can do it better and with great pronunciation!
1) Why did Woody get jealous?

2) Who is Sid?

3) Why did Woody and Buzz have to escape from Sid?

4) What is the story's message?
