Joe Rantz Timeline

Joe was born in March of 1914.
His mother dies Spring of 1918.
Joe soon moves in with Fred during Summer of 1919.
In April of 1921 Joe moves to Spokane with Harry and Thula.
Later in 1924 Joe is kicked out of the house.
During 1933 Joyce moves to Seattle.
The crew tryouts start October 9, 1933.

Joe makes the Freshman team on Deember 1939.
Before then Joe started working in the woods in Summer of 1934.
Joe begins his Junior Year in 1935.
In the Fall of 1935 he begins a friendship with Pocock.
On January 9, 1936 "the most grueling crew season" begins.

On June 22, 1936 Joe wins the Poughkipsee Regatta
Later on July 4-5 of the same year the Olympic trials run.
