The Nazi's would put the Jews in the gas chambers and release gas into it. When they all sufficated they threw a match in and it would burn off the gas. It would burn their body's to ashes then they would bury the ashes. The Atomic Bomb
was dropped by the
airplane called
Enola Gay at
Hiroshima and
Nagasaki. The
death at Hiroshima
was 90,000 to
166,000. In Nagsaki
60,000 to 80,000
people died. The energy
released was so powerful
that it burnt through clothing. Atomic Bomb Gas Chambers Planes American planes were not seen at the begining of the war. But after 2 years of war the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and the U.S. declared war against Axis powers. The B-29 is the plane that delivered the Atomic Bomb in World War 2. The B-17 delivered the most bombs in World War 2 for the Americans. Tanks Tanks were first used in combat during World War 1. Tanks were used to break trench warfare. The Soviet Union Entroduced the T-34 in World War 2 which was one of the best tanks in the war at that time. Pearl Harbor The attack on Pearl Harbor was a preventive action to keep the U.S. from influencing the war the Japanese were planning in Southeast Asia. Four U.S. Battleships were sunk, two of which were raised and returned back to the war later on. Tojo Hideki was held resoponsible for the bombing of Pearl Harbor. At the end of World War 2 he was sentenced to death by the International Military Tribunal for the Far East. For War Crimes and was executed by Hanging in 1948. Hitler Hitler's original plan was to make an agreement with Poland so they could fight against the west. But Poland denied the offer so Hitler decided he had no choice but to wipe Poland off the map. Hitler had a book that he wrote about how he was going to take over the world that he wrote while he was in prison. Hitler was a decorated veteran of World War 1. In 1919 Hitler joined the Nazi party and in 1921 became leader of Nazi party. After Hitler realized that they had lost the war he commited suicide by shooting himself in the temple with a Walther PPK. Holocaust The types of gases the Nazi's used were Hydrogen Cyanide, Carbon Dioxide, and Carbon Monoxide. The Holocaust was a period of time when millions of people died. One of the major things the Nazi's did was put them in Gas Chambers and put poisonous gas in and then burn the bodies because it was an easy way to kill a lot of people. D-DAY D-Day the date was june 6, 1944. The location was Normandy France. D-Day is a term used in military parlance to denote the day on which combat attack. The best known day of normandy landing. 160,000 allied troops landd along a 50- mile strech of heavily fortfiled coastline to fight germany on the beaches of normnady france. more than 5,000 ships and 13,000 aircraft suported the D-Day invasion.
