What kind of citizen models does modern regimes/forms of control impose for a teacher?

- State citizenship & political turbulance of early 20th century
- The fluid state, performativity & chameleon teacherhood
- Increasing complexity, self-governing and professional endeavors
System differentation (religion/education) & teacher as local censor morum
-> Pastorality & the call of vocation (religious doctrine)
-> Public assignment: limited private life vs. the central figure of local community
- Virtues (1850-1960´s): Strictness, chastity, purity, hard working, religiousness (christianity), musicality, good health & reputation
- State citizenshis & political turbulance of early 20th century
- Socialistic movement, "popular education" -movement, "red guards", Civil War (1918)
-> aftermath: "misguided common people" & political cleansings (by field court-martial (8 teacher killed) & the crime against the State -court (100 teacher prosecuted)
-> Teacher seminars: "rural idyll" & paraller education
- Nationalistic movement, anti-socialism, Lapua-movement, civil guards, WWII (1939-1945)
-> aftermath: discharging "unsuitable educators"

a) Dress up/ look like what ever he/she like?
b Smoke or drink alcohol or appeared in public if she/he is drunk?
c) be promiscuous or homosexual?
-> demand for "neutral" citizen and tendence of political reserveness

a) be an active member of (any) political party?
b) Talk about his/her political views in the class room?
c) usher children to political action (e.g. demonstrations)

- New virtues (1960`s->): showmanship, hobbyism, achieving academically, extrovert, applicability
