Great Accomplishments
Career
Malcolm X career had a great career. He was Civil rights activist and a Muslim minster and he was the National spokesman of Nation Of Islam. Malcolm featured on many shows and radio stations because he attracted the media when he spoke. But that wasn't for long because when Malcolm found out about his mentor Elijah Muhammad having an affair with six women in the Nation Of Islam, Malcolm was devastated and he didn't want to help Elijah Muhammad cover up. Later Elijah Muhammad banned Malcolm for 90 days because of his statement regarding John F. Kennedy Assassinations. In 1964 when he ended his relationship with NOI because couldn't over look what there leader did, later he decided to go to Mecca and converted to a Suni Muslim. When he came back to United States he resigned from NOI and didn't speak only speak about African- Americans in his rallies, he spoke to all races. He kept doing that at every rally. Later in his Career Malcolm found out he was marked for assassination. Their were many attempts once NOI had tried to plant a bomb in his car. The assassins were successful on February 21,1965. Three gunmen form NOI approached Malcolm X while he was practicing for his rally speech and shot him 21 times to the chest, he was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead.

Malcolm Little was Born: May 19, 1925 Omaha Nebraska and was assassinated on Feb 21, 1965 in New York. Malcolm "X" Little was also known as El-Haji Malik El Shabazz later in his life. Growing up Malcolm faced a lot of difficulties like his father death/murder, and his siblings and him getting sent to different foster homes and orphanages. Malcolm X was known for being the minister of NOI ( Nation Of Islam ), also known for being be a civil rights activist.
Childhood To Adult Hood
Malcolm had a hard childhood because he had lost his father at a young age because of the black legion and then later on him and his seven sibling were sent to different foster homes and orphanages because their mother was put in a mental institution due to her to her suffering emotional breakdowns. Malcolm dropped out of school at the age of fifteen.Later on in Malcolm s life he decided to move to Boston with his long time friend Malcolm ''shorty'' Jarvis, him and shorty were sentenced ten years of jail for burglary. Malcolm X was granted parole after serving 7 years, then later he decided to further his education, and him and his brother Reginald studied and talked about the NOI ( Nation Of Islam ).
Family Life
Earl little and Louise little were Malcolm x is parents. He didn't know his father well because his father Earl was Killed when Malcolm was really young, He got to know his mom A little before she was put in a mental institute, she was there for 27 years. Malcolm Didn't have many family members after they were separated as kids, he had some of his siblings in contact. Malcolm started his own family with his wife Betty Shabazz, they got married in 1958, Together they had six children Malaak Shabazz, Attallah Shabazz, Malikah Shabazz,Ilyasah Shabazz,Qubilah Shabazz and Gamilah Lumumba Shabazz. During the Malcolm s finally year it was hard for them to live together because the Nation Of Islam people tried to assassinate Malcolm X A lot.
Malcolm increased members in NOI from 500 member's in 1952 to 30,000 in 1963
Was a inspirational orator
The New York Times reported that Malcolm X was the second most sought after speaker in the United States in 1963.
Cassius Clay, the famous boxer decided to convert to the Muslim religion and join the Nation of Islam after Malcolm befriends and ministers to him. In February 1964, Clay announced that he changed his name to Muhammad Ali.
In 1964 Malcolm X formed a Muslim mosque
Malcolm X is autobiography was published in 1965, and which he worked with Alex Hailey.
Important Facts
The reason why Nation of Islam decided to kill Malcolm X was because he had told everyone the the truth about Elijah Muhammad and how he made the religion of Islam fake. Another fact was that the FBI knew everything that was going to happen to Malcolm X like when his assassination was and who it was going to be done by ( Nation of Islam ). They had watched Malcolm till his death. And another really important fact about Malcolm X was that he made a big change in society, he inspired many during his famous speeches. Malcolm X was invited to many universities like Harvard Law school and Howard universities to debate and talk.
