The right approach to living
There are 3 components of the
There are many benefits to eating healthy everyday
vitality concept
1. Healthy Eating
3. Positive Self & Body Image
2. Active Living
Healthy eating is eating a variety of foods everyday and making sure to get the right number of servings from each of the food groups:
1. Healthy Eating
This way, you will enjoy eating healthy and you won't give up (like with a diet)
Eat foods that you like. If there is a fruit/vegetable that you don't like, try eating something else in that food group (e.g if you don't like apples, have a banana!
Eat a variety of foods from all of the food groups to ensure you're getting the

lastly, remember to reward yourself once in a while! the whole point of healthy eating is to eat a variety of foods and be happy with what you're eating...even if this means indulging in chocolate or a piece of cake once in a while
so follow those steps and live a long, healthy, happy life!

Now instead of taking the elevator...
why not take the stairs?
That is exactly the point of active living
Active living is a way of life that integrates physical activity into your daily routine
There are many things you can do to participate in active living:
Do something you enjoy - run, swim, ski, skate, dance, sports
or you could try doing chores around the house - rake the leaves, shovel snow, carry groceries home
3. Positive Self & Body Image

suddenly, by doing all these things, you're gaining all the benefits of active living:
Canada's Food Guide is a great tool to help you choose the right foods for you and your family to make sure that you are eating healthy
Reduced risk of many diseases such as cardiovascular disease, type II diabetes, and even some types of cancer
It is an effective weight loss solution
it is your all in one pharmacy on a plate because eating a variety of foods provides you with all the nutrients that you need
increases your energy levels
increases productivity at school/work
Those include:
you improve your mental and physical health
you increase your concentration and therefore do better in other aspects of life such as school
You reduce stress
and you fight certain health conditions and disease
nutrients that your body needs
If active living is the way to live a long and healthy life, then it is definitely worth it.
Recognize that your body is your own, no matter what shape or size it comes in
Instead of focusing on the negatives, try and see all the positives in yourself
Try giving yourself three compliments everyday. Looking at all the good things about yourself will help you see yourself in a more positive light
If there are things about yourself that you want to change, decide what you can and can't do realistically
All of these things are essential to leading the vitality life style. Take control of your life and get started on the road toward a long, healthy, and energetic life
