Transcript of The Plant Cell Like a Shopping Mall

The Plant Cell is Like a Shopping Mall The nucleolus is like the information desk because it protects the information inside of it. The nucleus is like the doorway that protects the information center of the mall because it prevents anything from coming in like the nucleus. The chloroplast is like the solar panels for the mall because they both transform light rays into energy for the cell and shopping mall. Ribosomes are like the fry cooks in the food court because they create food for the mall like how ribosomes make proteins for the cell. The lysosome is like the dumpster in a shopping mall because they both get rid of wastes. The chromosome is like the manager because it tells the cell what is going to happen and what the cell is going to do. The beams inside the mall are like the cytoskeleton because they both support structures. The nuclear envelope is like the security of the mall because it protects the nucleus. The phospholipid bilayer is like the walls of the mall because it protects the cell just like the walls do to the mall. The Golgi apparatus is like the warehouse of the mall because it packages and sends out items like how the Golgi apparatus packages and sends out proteins. The rough endoplasmic reticulum is like a restaurant because it packages and sends out food just like the rough endoplasmic reticulum does to proteins. The smooth endoplasmic reticulum is like the bags shoppers get because they store cloths like how the smooth endoplasmic stores different chemicals for the cell.
