Brief history of cupcake Happiness of a every sweet lover :) OREO CUPCAKE The first mention of a cupcake recipe goes as far back as 1796. Amelia Simms wrote a recipe in “American Cookery” which referenced, “a cake to be baked in small cups”. However, it wasn’t until 1828 that the actual word cupcake was used by Eliza Leslie in her cookbook “Seventy-five Receipts for Pastry, Cakes, and Sweetmeats”. Cupcakes for the sweet tooth RED VELVET CUPCAKE A Red velvet cupcake is a cake
with a dark red, bright red or
red-brown color. It is usually
layered with either a vanilla or chocolate flavor, topped with a
creamy white icing.
The most Common ingredients are
buttermilk, butter, flour,

Food coloring.
The amount of cocoa used varies
in different recipes. Cream
