and how it began Techno is a form of electronic dance music (EDM for short) that originated from Detroit, Michigan in the U.S during the mid to late 1980's

Techno is generally a repetitive instrumental music produced for use in a continuous DJ set. Techno has a common time signature which is 4/4.

The typical instruments used for Techno is a Synthesizer, Keyboards, Sampler, Drum machine, Sequencer and a Personal Computer Down Here
V Why Don't we watch a 1991 Techno YouTube clip as an example. So as you can see Techno and Dubstep are almost the same except in Dubstep there is a more bass sound in it.

This also came into dubstep as you will hear later . Dubstep originated from london in late 1990's to the early 2000's. Dubstep is characterized by its heavy emphasis on bass frequencies. Listening to dubstep as its meant to be heard.

Unlike more traditional forms of dance music such as techno, there is no traditional track structure, just a permanent sense of progression that is mirrored by the constant evolution of the genre itself. Watching a dubstep DJ holds the added anticipation of where it will be taken next, so constant and typical is its growth and development.
