Communication will be a crucial element of SDG implementation in terms of:
accelerating SDG implementation
mobilising stakeholder groups such as business groups and civil society
sensitising people to participate in the SDG process
Effective engagement of diversified groups will require multidimensional communication strategy
SDGLand is a low-middle income country with 80 mill people; with 40% people in 15-40 age group; 52% female and 16% living under $2-a-day poverty threshold
The country is still recovering from the international recession crisis
The country has vast forest and water resources, and is an attractive tourist land for its wildlife
The country is struggling to access affordable funds for infrastructure and social development programmes from donors
