Transcript of neutral7 creative project
"art for kids"
project neutral7 is working on a new charity project, and we need your feedback. We decided to take matters into our own hands and start a project that would emphasize the importance of the arts and art education within our elementary, middle, and high schools as well as within our community. why? our mission (name of organization) aims to enhance the lives of our community's youth by building awareness of the need for quality art programs. (name of organization) seeks to produce resources for visual and performing arts programs within Alachua County, promote the arts and art education, and provide materials, research, and support for the next generation of artists. ... but as you can see We had no identity for our organization. Then, we started brainstorming. We started with a list of words that we found most important. At first we thought an acronym would work out best.
So, we came up with: And then we tried making up our own acronym... We had a couple of issues with this one, so we went back to the drawing board. From being a simple, enthusiastic cheer to awesome rock music, "rockit" supports the creative arts in a fun and expressive way. ... but the spelling of "rockit", while being whimsical and enthusiastic, didn't convey our message clearly. We still liked how rocketships elude to the idea of creativity and the imagination, so we simplified "rockit" to "Rocket for the Arts". Finding the right word for the "n" in CYAAN proved to be a challenge. At the end of 2009, we went on a hunt for local charity work that focuses in art education.
To our surprise, there was only one organization that attempted to raise money for the arts, but only at the elementary school level.
On top of that, there was little information about them online, except for a news article or two dated from 2008. Let us know what you think. What should we work on? Which name do you like best? Which do you like the least? Your feedback is important to us and to our cause.
