When this becomes public, Angela gets separated from the Senator and has to move in with Oscar, who the Senator also left, to raise her child, who turns out to be Dwight's. Angela is very intolerant of people who don't share her ideas, which is why she was initially attracted to Dwight. They get together in the end of the series and are happily married. Erin Hannon Erin is the young new receptionist brought in when Pam becomes a sales rep. Erin was a foster child who got moved from house to house when she was little, and it has clearly affected her. Stanley is always working on crossword puzzles during meetings, which makes Michael very angry. Through the series, it is revealed that Stanley is having several affairs, and when the documentary finally airs, he says he is expecting a divorce. Stanley is diabetic, and hates any kind of physical exercise. He has worked at Dunder-Mifflin for 22 years, and eventually retires. Darryl is divorced, and has a young daughter named Jada, who he is always trying to impress. Toby Flenderson Toby is the HR rep at Dunder-Mifflin Scranton. He is very quiet and Michael hates him. He was on the jury in the Scranton Strangler case, and he keeps talking about it 2 years later, as it is his only anecdote. He doesn't have many friends in the office, as he is the HR rep. He was in love with Pam for a while early in the series, but when she gets together with Jim, he develops a crush on Nellie. Jan Levenson Jan is Vice President of Sales of Dunder Mifflin. She is Michael's immediate boss and eventually starts a relationship with him. Their relationship is destructive, but they continue it off and on. Toby becomes infatuated with Nellie after she drunkenly kisses him, but she fails to reciprocate these feelings. She has anxiety issues that she is very ashamed of, and is very unmotivated at her job. David Wallace David is the CFO of Dunder-Mifflin and Micheal's direct boss. Micheal constantly embarasses himself in front of David. David is the one who eventually fires Andy and puts Dwight as Regional Manager. He has great business sense, and is a good CFO. He buys out the Micheal Scott Paper company as he believes that it is a threat, and reinstates all the Dunder-Mifflin employees (Pam, Ryan, and Michael) to their old positions in the office. Pete Miller Pete starts in the office as a Customer Service Rep when Kelly leaves Dunder-Mifflin. He seems to have the same long term goals that Jim had when he first started, and is tall and thin, so many people in the office call him "New Jim". Andy gives him the nickname Plop. Pete and Erin get together when Andy leaves on his boat trip. Todd Packer Packer is a traveling salesman for Dunder-Mifflin. He used to be a salesman in the office with Micheal before they both got promoted. They are friends, though it seems that Packer may sometimes take advantage of Micheal's naivety. Packer is obnoxious, loud, rude, and no one seems to like him other than Micheal. Dunder-Mifflin Sabre Sabre takes over the branches of Dunder-Mifflin and the coordinating director Gabe joins the office. Sabre is a very proactive company with lots of new, time-saving ideas, such as blocking YouTube and Twitter on office computers. This makes Micheal furious, and he goes to talk to the former CFO David Wallace about all the changes. When Micheal sees how poorly David's life is going after he left Dunder-Mifflin, he decides to stay with the company despite the new changes. Robert California Robert is the CEO of Sabre with some very unusual business techniques. When he first comes to the Scranton branch office, he makes a list in a little notebooks of the 'winners' and 'losers' of the office. When the office finds the notebook they are furious, and Robert simply asks the people he wrote as 'winners' to prove him right, and the so-called 'losers' to prove him wrong. Robert is very strange, and the office members find him exiting but also extremely intimidating. During the end of Robert's leadership at Dunder-Mifflin, he starts to run the company into the ground. David Wallace shows up, however, and offers to buy the company for $1 million from Robert. Robert accepts, and goes off to travel around the world. Gabe Lewis Gabe is the Regional Director of Sales at Dunder-Mifflin Sabre. He is very insecure and awkward, and though he makes attempts to be respected by the office staff, he tends to be universally ignored as he has no real power. Gabe dated Erin for a while, making his relationship with Andy strained, but she eventually ended it. He has no social life, as his former boss put him on an insanely demanding schedule, and he is therefore used to working long hours. When Sabre's boss liquidates all of it's assets, Gabe is no longer seen in the office, until Andy rehires him, along with Pete's ex-girlfriend, to make Erin and Pete feel just as awkward as Andy does after Erin breaks up with him. Holly Flax Holly is introduced as the new HR rep to replace Toby when he retires to Costa Rica temporarily. Micheal immediately thinks of her as the 'New Toby' and proceeds to haze her, until he finds out that she doesn't like Toby either. Micheal soon after begins falling in love with her, as the two have the same sense of immature humor that everyone else in the office finds annoying and childish. They begin a happy relationship, until David Wallace finds out and transfers Holly to the Nashua branch, forcing them to end their relationship. When the two reunite at the company picnic, it is revealed that she is living with her long-term boyfriend A.J., that she has been seeing since she arrived in Nashua. Holly returns to the Scranton office to cover for Toby while he is on jury duty for the Scranton Strangler case, and she eventually ends it with A. J., as he didn't want to commit. Holly and Micheal get back together and soon after get engaged. The two of them then move to Colorado. Karen Filippelli Karen originally worked at the same branch as Andy, and Jim temporarily, until it shut down. She was then transferred to the Scranton branch. At first, Karen finds Jim annoying, but then grows to like him and develops feelings for him. Jim and Karen begin a relationship, but Jim finally ends it to ask Pam out on a date. Frustrated, Karen transfers to the Utica branch, becomes Regional Manager there, and gets married to someone else. Scranton Strangler The Scranton Strangler is a serial criminal in Scranton. When he is finally arrested, Toby has to serve jury duty in the Strangler's trial. At first the office members are interested, and Toby is happy to get so much attention. But when becomes the only topic of conversation with Toby, the office members are annoyed and get fed up with hearing about it, especially Nellie. When Toby tells her for the 100th time that he was pressured into voting him guilty even though he suspected that the Strangler was innocent, Nellie snaps and tells him to either drop it or do something about it. Toby finally visits the prison to speak with the accused Strangler, and is attacked and leaves in a neck brace.
