Won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1967
Worked for Adelaide News, the Denver Post and the Washington Star before working at the New York Times.
"Cartooning is an inherently negative art form. If only good people populated the political scene, I would have nothing to do. Good people make poor targets. I like villains."
