Human Rights Arvinder Singh 5-511
Article 1
To me article 1 means to be you are allowed to think how you want to. You are allowed to be free because no one rules you. People can decide what they want not others . No one can decide your rights to be free or what you think. If someone does that to you tell them they can’t do that.

You should treat others kindly or friendly. Then others should treat you the same exact way. You should show them that you are a friend. They can be a friend to you to. Everyone is equal to each other even if they are differernt. Like if you’re a boy and their a girl you are still equal. This is how you are free and equal.

Respond to Article 1
Article 1, Right to equality:
You are born free and equal in rights to every other hu-
man being. You have the ability to think and to tell right
from wrong. You should treat others with friendship

Article 5, Freedom from torture and degrading
treatment:
Nobody has the right to torture, harm or humiliate
you.

To me this article means that no one can touch ,your body unless it is a parent or grandparent. Nobody can bully you or make people humiliate you and hurts you feelings, they can’t cut you lock you in a room. If somebody hurts you, harm you, or bother you tell somebody. If you feel uncomfortable you should tell that person. So if someone doesn’t treat you how you want tell a adult.

No one has the right to torture you or anyone else. You can’t just let someone treat you how they want to. You need to stand up for yourself like to say “no.” If you see someone getting bullied you should stand up for them. If someone says a mean joke and everyone laughs say “stop”. So no one tortures you, harm, or humiliate.
