Life Style Diseases
Definition: Diseases caused partly by unhealthy behaviors and partly by other factors.
Type II Diabetes
The inability to use insulin properly. This is also called insulin resistance. Your pancreas makes extra insulin to make up for it. But, over time it isn't able to keep up and can't make enough insulin to keep your blood glucose at normal levels.

Type II Diabetes is the most common form.


Cardiovascular
Disease
The heart and blood vessels make up the cardiovascular system. diseases and disorders the result from damage to the heart are called Cardiovascular Disease.

Obesity
Definition:• Obesity means having excess body fat. For adults 35 and older, having a BMI greater than 30 is considered obese.

What would a meal look like if you were to clean your diet up and make a MY Plate Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.

If your goal is to consume 1200-1600 calories a day with three meals. Design a breakfast, Lunch, or dinner that would equal 1/3 calories for a 1200-1600 calorie diet.
