MORE ABOUT WHEN A AVALANCHE ONCED HAPPENED
Fun fact's about "AVALANCHES"
Caused by things such as snow packs and steep terrains.Avalanches happen because the side of a mountain is being disturbed, that causes a large mass of snow packed together.
Mostly occur in the north sides of the world.Occurs on snow hills of about 30-45 degrees.Avalanches also happen during snowfalls and warm afternoon temperatures, when that happens it makes loud noises, vibrations, and triggers.
High temperatures, wind, snowfalls, are some types of weather that affect avalanches.
Main idea:Earthquakes cause Avalanches. The weather is affecting things like tree's collapsing, people on snowmobiles falling. Many injuries can be caused and maybe a few people can die, about 150 people die every year because of avalanches and 2500 injuries happen each year.
1. Most avalanches can happen by people skiing or snowboarding
2. Avalanches can go on and on for more than 24 hours
3.Most earthquakes can cause avalanches to happen!!!
People such as scientist's measure the damage after a avalanche happens, using a destructive force scale. The destructive force scale is from the numbers 1-5. A hazard for a avalanche is that since earthquakes cause avalanches to happen that is a natural force because a natural disaster is causing another natural disaster to happen.
Avalanches have many affect's compared to other natural disasters.Avalanches affect structures such as snowboard lodges, and streets, and in extreme cases houses, or buildings.
A avalanche happened once in ili china. On March 14 2008. Five employes were pulled out of a hole/tunnel after being stuck in there for 25hours.It killed 4 people and left 1 person to survive.
The region was affected by things such as temperature's dropping, and earthquakes were happening.
The avalanche destroyed
structures such as ski lodges,
campsites,and houses and in
mountain region part.Avalanches
can cause structures to not be
stable and collapse.and that
what happened in this
The structures witch were devastated
and witch were not were, all of the were not devastated.None of them were devastated because the avalanche didn't have the force to push down all the packed snow.
So,that means the region has
rebuilt since devastation.
