Famous people from Colombia are Shakira, Juanes, and other musicians and artists. There are also fashion designers and actors like John Leguizamo and Sofia Vergara. The author Gabriel Garcia Marquez is from Colombia. Where is Colombia?
Colombia is in South America. It is next to Venezuela ,Ecuador, Brazil, Panama, Peru, the Pacific Ocean, and the Caribbean sea. The capital of Colombia is Bogota. The Colombian flag Colombia Facts by Letzli and Danishka What are schools like in Colombia?
Kids go to school from January to November . They start in first grade, and stay in school until
11th grade. What are typical Colombian foods?
People eat rice with beans and coconuts and special foods called charapas (with turtle meat!) chunchullo, and bunelo. The flag of Colombia is the colors
yellow, blue, and red. The yellow represents gold.
The blue shows oceans on either side.
