John Christopher Depp II (Owensboro, Kentucky , June 9, 1963) , better known as Johnny Depp is an American actor and producer. His films were blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean ( series) with a total of 3.727 million dollars, followed by Alice in Wonderland with global revenues of 1,024 million, after Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The 474 million Tourist with $ 278 million worldwide . Ancestries have French, German, Cherokee and Irish , so that the very Depp describes himself in interviews as a mongrel dog . Johnny is an avid reader and in his spare time enjoys painting . He has drawn the CD cover of Vanessa Paradis ' Divinidylle ' that appears at the beginning of the video L' fire. He has also painted the actor Marlon Brando and Keith Richards, the Rolling Stones guitarist . In addition , art collector and visit art museums.

Collaboration with Tim Burton



Depp has collaborated with director and friend Tim Burton in eight films, beginning with Edward Scissorhands (1990).
The next job was Depp with Tim Burton in the role of Ichabod Crane in Sleepy Hollow (1999); Depp did not work with Burton again until 2005 in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, in which he played Willy Wonka. Depp modeled the character's hair on Anna Wintour. The film was a box office success and received positive reviews. The following year (2007) Sweeney Todd opens, in which Depp reached his second major victory, the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Musical or Comedy as well as his third Oscar nomination for best actor. Burton had previously, in 2000 the original cast recording of the 1979 musical.

ROCK BAND
At the age of twelve, his mother bought him an electric guitar, and Johnny began playing in various bands for the garage. His first band was in honor of his girlfriend Meredith. When I was fifteen, his parents divorced, and Depp is refuge in alcohol and drugs, and left the high school to become a musician of rock.4 once explained in "Inside the Actors Studio" that attempt go back to school two weeks later, but the director told him to follow her dream of becoming a musician. He played with the kids.
