Our opinion
We think that laptops are much better than typewriters because they are portable and is easy to carry around. You can change text font and colour, however they sometimes can be unreliable and slow.

Advantages
Typewriters are less maintenance.
They are enviromentally friendly.
Some people believe that typewriters are beautiful machines. (sad people)
Typewriters are cheap and reliable.
Differences
Laptops have several keys that typewriters don't have.
Laptops offer nearly every font and colour option.
Typewriter should have frequent place of ink ribbon.
Typewriter is only used for word processing.
Disadvantages
When you make mistakes on a typewriter and if you don't have a correction tape then you have to start over.
If you have to re-insert the paper you have to line it up perfectly.
You don't have a hard drive so you can't use templates to make your work easier.
Laptops
History:

The first laptop was a microprocessor-based portable laptop was the Osborne 1 in 1981, which used the CP/M operating system.

◾The main reason to have a laptop or notebook computer is portability – the need to take your entire computer from one place to another.

◾Laptops can weigh as little as 6 pounds.
