Transcript of How bows evolved

Back in the day they had spears, then eventually they created the recurve which allowed them to shoot the spear a little farther and kill more game. they figured out how to make a crossbow which shot arrows farther faster and more accurately, they now use crossbows for hunting and target sports Crossbows are becoming more powerful every year, the range from 50 lb. pull- 200 lb. pull There are different variations of limbs and releases that all make the bow faster. They make low grade and high grade bows, you can get a crossbow or compound bow now for anywhere from 200 to 3000 dollars! Bows used to shoot arrows that barely stuck into the animal, now the bows can shoot an arrow all the way through an animal, bones and all.
