Appraisal The people This needs to be agreed collaboratively between the Head Teacher and Union representatives and then ratified by SLT and governing body Subtext The entire premise of this is based on the assumption that the only motivator is money.
Self-Determination Theory which is operated by all of the major successful businesses today says 'take money off the table, by paying everyone enough to live, then focus on
competency/mastery,
autonomy/purpose and
relatedness/sense of common purpose.
The whole notion is therefore fundamentally flawed. Suggestion
