He went to Kenyon college, Harvard University, Harvard Law school. Kenyon college is in Gambier. Harvard is in Cambridge, MA 02138. Also Harvard Law school is located there.
Hayes died October 19, 1937.
Tilden died August 4, 1886

Rutherford B. Hayes was the 19th president of the United States. He was a president from 1877-1881. Ulysses S. Grant was the 18th president. He was the president from 1869-1877.

1877-1881. In 1854-1893 He was in the Republican party. Rutherford B. Hayes was against Samuel. Tilden. He was in the Democratic Party.

Hayes was born in October 3, 1822. As president, he oversaw the end of Reconstruction, Began the efforts that led to civil service reform, and attempted to reconcile the divisions left over from the Civil war and Reconstruction.

As commanding General of the Untied
states Army [1864-69], Grant worked closely
with president Abraham Lincoln to lead the
Union Army to victory over the confederacy in the American Civil War.
Samuel went to New York university, Yale University, and New York University Law School.
On November 11, three days after the election day, Tilden appeared to won 184 electoral votes.
Rutherford had 185 electoral votes.
